Beverly Hills Residence
Project
Sixty-five unique geometry FRP sandwich panels were used to create the exterior and some of the interiors on this private residence in Beverly Hills. Originally conceived in limestone, the weight and size made the project impractical. A unique finish was created by incorporating mother-of-pearl chips into the exposed aggregate polymer concrete finish. Because of the lightweight, the panels were able to be fastened to the exterior side of the weather wall using conventional rain screen type connections.
