K&A Scope of Work: Resin coating, anchor system
Project Description: Michael Manwaring and Environmental Image commissioned Jacquelyn Giuffre to sculpt twelve Disney characters in foam. K&A coated these in resin and designed the anchor system. The final finish, 24 karat gold leaf, was applied by Thomas Swan Signs. The characters sit atop columns in the entry of Disney’s casting center in Lake Buena Vista in Florida (see above picture).
